This policy provides details regarding optional financial protection products offered via the BreezeStay platform.
1. General Insurance Terms
Financial protection products like Rent Insurance and Deposit Protection are offered by third-party insurance partners and are subject to their terms and conditions.
* Note: BreezeStay acts solely as a digital facilitator and does not underwrite these insurance policies.
2. Rent Insurance Coverage
Rent Insurance provides coverage for a specified number of months' rent in case of qualifying events like involuntary job loss or medical emergencies. A claim must be filed directly with the insurance provider along with required documentation. The policy is valid only for the duration of the confirmed booking it was purchased for.
3. Deposit Protection Standards
Deposit Protection facilitates the fair handling of your security deposit. In case of a dispute over deductions, a neutral third-party arbitrator will assess the claim based on evidence provided by both the host and renter. The service facilitates that any undisputed amount is returned to the renter within the stipulated timeframe.
4. Claims Process Workflow
To initiate a claim, please use the "File a Claim" button on your booking details page. You will be redirected to the insurance partner's portal to complete the process. BreezeStay will share the necessary verified booking logs with the insurer to support your claim.
5. Coverage Exclusions
Claims may be rejected for non-disclosure, fraudulent submissions, policy lapse, or events not covered by the insurer. Please review the partner insurer's policy wording carefully before purchase.
6. Regulatory Hub & Support Escalation
BreezeStay does not act as an insurer or insurance broker for underwriting decisions. For policy servicing, claim status, or grievance escalation, contact the insurer first and then reach us at support@breezestay.in.
